With each passing week our favourite shows are wrapping up, but we're also getting news about renewals and cancellations for next season. While shows like Showtime's Shameless [2] will be back for another round, others like Whiskey Cavalier have gotten the ax. Luckily, The CW announced a TON of renewals [3] for their hit series, including Riverdale [4] and The Flash, and Hulu has also renewed a bunch of their freshman comedies. See what else has been renewed or cancelled so far in 2019, ahead.
What's Been Renewed
TV Land
- Younger: The series, which was created by Darren Star, has been renewed for a seventh season [6].
Hulu
- Light as a Feather: Unlike many of the characters in this AwesomenessTV thriller starring Liana Liberato, the show will live to see a second season.
- Runaways: The Marvel series has been renewed for a third season [7].
- Shrill: Aidy Bryant's brilliant comedy will see a second season of awkward run-ins, body acceptance, and hopefully a better romance for Annie Easton.
- PEN15 [8]: Ready to go back to seventh grade? The freshman comedy has been renewed for season two.
- Ramy: Actor and comedian Ramy Youssef's hilarious series [9] about a Muslim-American family navigating life in their politically divided New Jersey neighbourhood is coming back for season two.
USA Network
- Suits: The series has been renewed for a ninth and final season [10], which will air sometime in 2019.
Syfy
- The Magicians: The series, which is based on Lev Grossman's book of the same name, has been renewed for a fifth season [11].
Fox
- So You Think You Can Dance: The dancing competition has been renewed for season 16 [12].
- The Masked Singer [13]: The hit new show has been granted a second season [14].
Netflix
- The Society: Netflix's dystopian teen drama will indeed return for season two.
- Queer Eye [15]: Don't worry — the Fab Five are coming back for a fifth season in a brand-new town!
- Dead to Me: You haven't seen the last of Jen and Judy, because the dark comedy has been renewed for a second season.
- Russian Doll: The freshman series starring Natasha Lyonne will be returning with eight new episodes in season two.
- After Life: The Ricky Gervais dramedy will be back for a second season in 2020.
- I Think You Should Leave: Tim Robinson and Zach Kani's Lonely Island-produced sketch-comedy show will return for a second season, set to premiere in 2020.
- Dogs: The puppy-loving docuseries will return for a second season.
- Grace and Frankie: The show starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin has been renewed for season six [16].
- The Kominsky Method: The comedy, which stars Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin, will return for season two [17].
- Fuller House: The Full House spinoff will return for its fifth and final season this Fall [18].
- Sex Education: After a successful first season, the series will return for season two [19].
- Umbrella Academy: After leaving fans with a dazzling cliffhanger in season one, the freshman Netflix series has been renewed for season two [20].

- Superstore: Yes, the big-box sitcom will return for a fifth season!
- Ellen's Game of Games: The game show will return for a third season [21].

- Shameless: Following Emmy Rossum's announcement that she is leaving the show [32] after the current ninth season, the show has been renewed for season 10 [33].

- God Friended Me: The series has been renewed for a second season [34].
- Bull: Despite controversy surrounding lead Michael Weatherly after he was accused of sexual harassment by former co-star Eliza Dushku [35], the network has decided to renew the procedural for a fourth season [36].

- Arrow: Oliver Queen will be back for the show's eighth season.

- A.P. Bio: Creator Mike O'Brien revealed the comedy series has been scrapped [70] after two seasons.

- Santa Clarita Diet: The zombie comedy starring Drew Barrymore [75] and Timothy Olyphant was laid to rest [76] shortly after the release of its third season.
- Lucifer: Despite being saved from cancellation by Netflix once before, the devilish series is ending for good.
- She's Gotta Have It: After two seasons of Nola Darling's adventures, the series was cancelled [77] shortly after the release of season two.

- Speechless: The sitcom will not return for a fourth season.
- Splitting Up Together: The Jenna Fischer-led series has been cancelled after its sophomore season.
- For the People: The law drama will come to an end after it's second season.
- The Kids Are Alright: The freshman comedy series starring The Walking Dead's Michael Cudlitz, has been cancelled.
- The Fix: The legal drama has been cancelled in the middle of its first season.
- Whiskey Cavalier: There won't be a season two of this spy dramedy.
