All the BAFTA TV Must-See Moment Award Nominees For 2022

Here's Your Full List of the BAFTA TV Must-See Moment Award Nominees For 2022

Following last month's BAFTA Film Awards, it's time to shift our attention to the BAFTA Television Awards, which are set to take place in May. On 23 March, the nominees for one of the BAFTA Television Awards' most highly anticipated categories — Virgin Media's must-see moment — were revealed, and it's an impressive list. It's the only award that's voted for entirely by the public, and it aims to represent the most talked-about moment of the year.

Previous winners include Diversity's Black Lives Matter performance, Nessa's proposal in "Gavin & Stacey", and Julia Montague's assassination in "Bodyguard" — so the standard is pretty high. This year, nominees include TV series like "RuPaul's Drag Race UK", "It's a Sin", and "Squid Game", along with live performance events like "An Audience With Adele" — which understandably got everyone talking.

David Bouchier, Virgin Media's director of TV and Entertainment, said, "In response to the pandemic, 2021, like 2020, was a year of much change, and great television was at the heart of every moment that kept the nation connected, entertained, and informed through such difficult times. This year's incredibly strong list of nominees represents some of the biggest conversations of 2021 and proves that TV has never been better more popular or widely discussed through various platforms. We can't wait to see who the public will crown the sixth winner of our Virgin Media's Must-See Moment award."

Winners of the award will be announced during the full BAFTA ceremony on 8 May. Before that, members of the public will be able to vote for their favourite moment via the Virgin Media website before voting closes on 19 April. Read on to learn all of this year's nominees.
