Judging from the music video for "Afterlife," Hailee Steinfeld is ready for Halloween [1]. The singer and actress, who released the song ahead of her new dramedy Dickinson on Apple TV+ [2], debuted the video for the song on Monday.
It's a solidly spooky three and a half minutes, including footage of Steinfeld being painfully corseted inside a box, crawling around a dollhouse with giant eyes, and hanging out in a desert while wearing a top hat (as one does). Of course, there are also quite a few gorgeous shots of her lounging around a picturesque field and wearing see-through dresses (again, as one does).
Watch the video for "Afterlife" above, which just might replace "Capital Letters" [3] as our new favourite.
