Who Will Win Love Island 2021 Series 7?

With Just 1 Week to Go, Here's Our Prediction For This Year's Love Island Winner

Love Island is very nearly coming to an end, and there's been a lot of speculation about who might be this year's winners. We'll admit, this series has been a real roller coaster, and our opinion of pretty much every islander has changed at least three times, so it's been tricky to keep up with who we love and who we can't wait to see leave the villa. So, it's time for a recap . . .

At first, Jake and Liberty had our hearts, but after Jake's less-than-loyal approach to Casa Amor, we had to relegate him back to the subs bench. At the time, Toby had our heads spinning with his constant U-turns, but now that he and Chloe are back for good, we can't help but feel a little joyful. Similarly (and somewhat controversially), Liam managed to win back the heart of Millie after his Casa Amor journey resulted in some serious damage, and some of us still can't quite believe it.

Then there's Kaz and Tyler; they've had their ups and downs, but ultimately, back together is where they belong. Though some of us feel that Kaz deserves better, it was clear that she and Matthew didn't stand a chance and that with Tyler is where her heart truly lies. Teddy and Faye have been on a similar (albeit more exhaustive) emotional journey, and despite the fact that they're also back together, it's difficult for us to forgive and forget that reaction to the "Mad Movies" challenge.

Finally, there's Brett and Priya and Mary and Aaron, who, we must admit, don't really factor into our list of potential winners, and that's for a number of reasons. They're the newest couples, which means we've not yet had a fair enough assessment of their blossoming relationships, and from what we have seen so far, it's safe to say they're not scoring many points on the compatibility scales.

Read on to find out which of the Love Island couples takes our top spot for this year's winner and who we think will follow closely behind.

5. Not in the Final: Faye and Teddy

It's unclear as to how people really feel about Faye after her outburst that followed the "Mad Movies" challenge, but what is clear is that Teddy is a very forgiving man. The couple were once the public's favourites (no doubt because of their love for Teddy), but it appears that Faye's recent reaction made viewers very uncomfortable, and for that reason, it's unlikely they'll be crowned this year's winners.

4. Not in the Final: Jake and Liberty

Jake and Liberty are a couple facing some serious adversity at the moment, but it's hard to be sure about what's really going on. They've been coupled up since the very beginning and only recently been seen to have doubts. Mostly, the public (and the girls in the villa) are questioning Jake's true feelings, and we continually struggle to watch him attempt to reassure Liberty only by constantly reminding her that she's his girlfriend (she knows, Jake).

They were once shoo-ins to the final, but it seems that Jake's recent behaviour and Liberty's uncertainty are rubbing off on all of us, and we don't have the same confidence in them that we once did.

3. Third Place: Tyler and Kaz

Everyone loves Kaz; it's a fact. It then comes as no surprise that Kaz and Tyler are favourites to win, even despite Tyler's (quite frankly shocking) behaviour over at Casa Amor. We live and learn, and with that idea, Kaz was able to forgive Tyler, so we guess we're able to forgive him, too.

That said, we're not quite convinced that they'll be this year's winners, but we can definitely expect to see them in the top three.

2. Second Place: Liam and Millie

Liam and Millie have had one hell of a ride in the villa, and honestly, it's been difficult to watch at times. Seeing Liam's fleeting (and downright disrespectful) romance with Lillie on our screens made us all hugely uncomfortable, and that feeling only got worse once we realised Millie would eventually see it, too.

Still, Liam's somehow managed to win back her heart, and Millie's been able to forgive (some of) his wrongdoings. It feels as though the couple haven't taken long to get back to their fun, loved-up selves, so we're pretty confident they'll take at least second place in the final.

1. Our Pick: Chloe and Toby

If someone had told us at the start of the series that we'd be rooting for Chloe and Toby to win, we never would have believed it, but here we are. It's safe to say Toby's gotten the most out of his Love Island experience having coupled up with Kaz, Chloe, Abi, Mary, and then back to Chloe again, and we've seriously enjoyed watching his journey unfold.

Despite all the previous trauma, it appears he and Chloe are in fact incredibly well-suited and really care about each other, and most importantly — they're enjoyable to watch. For those reasons, we reckon they'll be this year's Love Island winners.
