Netflix Finally Reveals "Manifest" Season 4's Release Date (And a Mysterious New Trailer)

Exactly one year after Netflix rescued the former NBC series "Manifest" from cancellation, the premiere date for the show's fourth and final season has been unveiled. After a successful fan campaign, Netflix proved to be the ultimate saving grace for "Manifest". Technically, the series was cancelled in June, but thanks to the streaming service, there will be a final season — and it's supposedly unlike anything that's come before.

To send the show off with the bang it deserves, Netflix is releasing a "super-sized" season four with 20 episodes (to be released in two parts), wrapping up any and all loose ends left dangling after the plane crash drama's abrupt season three ending. For those looking to get caught up, the first three seasons of the hit show are currently on Netflix, and for everyone else ready to lose themselves in the next chapter, read on to find out everything you need to know about Netflix's plans for the grand finale of "Manifest" — including when season four will finally premiere.

On Aug. 28, Netflix confirmed the first half of season four of "Manifest" will premiere on Nov. 4.

"Manifest" is based around a group of passengers who board a plane, Flight 828, and experience a period of severe turbulence during their trip. When they finally land, they're told that it's been five years since they originally took off, and that everyone on the plane was presumed to be dead. The passengers' sudden and inexplicable reappearance throws everything into question, especially when some of them start to hear voices and visions, which they refer to as "callings."

The fourth season is set to reveal what actually happened on Flight 828, and finally give fans the answers they've been searching for. The new season will be released in two 10-episode parts on Netflix. Per the official description, two years have passed since the murder of Ben's (Josh Dallas) wife Grace (Athena Karkanis). Since then, he's stepped down from his job as the co-captain of the lifeboat to focus on the search for his missing daughter, Olivia (Luna Blaise).

This leaves Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) to do the job alone. But with the government following all of the passengers, and the death day approaching, the arrival of a mysterious package will upend everyone's lives.
