"Stream, Scream, Repeat": Check Out Netflix's Brand-New Horror Lineup For 2019

Are you ready to "stream, scream, repeat"? Because Netflix's lineup for September and October is spooky AF. In addition to adding freaky classics like Scream 2 and Along Came a Spider, the streaming giant is gifting horror fanatics with a few original films. Oh, and if scary TV series are your bag, Netflix has everything from a chilling French show with major Haunting of Hill House vibes to a prank series starring Stranger Things alum Gaten Matarazzo. See what you'll be able to stream throughout September and October ahead!

1. Marianne

This eight-episode French series follows Emma (Victoire Du Bois), a famous horror novelist who uses a nightmarish witch, Marianne, who haunted her dreams as a child for inspiration in her latest book. Unfortunately, during a trip back to her seaside childhood home, Emma discovers that Marianne — as well as other demons in her stories — might be legit, since people in her hometown have reported interactions with the evil spirit.

2. Head Count

A group of teens stumble upon a horrifying supernatural entity that mimics their appearances during a road trip to Joshua Tree.

3. We Have Always Lived in the Castle

Taissa Farmiga and Alexandra Daddario star in this 2018 period thriller about sisters who live in isolation with their uncle after experiencing a tragedy years earlier. Unfortunately, another family member arrives to scheme his way into stealing their fortune and threatens to reveal a dark secret.

The adaptation of their story In the Tall Grass centres around siblings Becky and Cal, who hear the cries of a young boy claiming he's lost within a field of tall grass and needs help. As they venture in to help, they quickly discover that a sinister force is lurking in the brush, eager to separate them and ensure they never leave.
