In Eli, a young boy (Charlie Shotwell) has a severe illness that requires him to live in isolation, sealed off from the rest of the world. His parents (Kelly Reilly and Max Martini) decide to take a risk by putting his treatment in the hands of a new doctor (Lili Taylor) who has an experimental option to help their son. Let's just say that the side effects go way beyond an upset stomach.
