Victor DiMattia had already been acting for eight years prior to his role as Timmy Timmons, but after The Sandlot's release, his career started to slow down. In 1995, he completed his run as Sam on the TV show A Peaceable Kingdom before retiring. But it appears he may have been bitten by the acting bug again, as he had a role in the film Get Married or Die, which was released this year.
