Are you ready for a glimpse into Nicky Nichols's psyche? In this episode, we see little Nicky practicing her Bat Mitzvah speech while her nitpicky mother tries on dresses and criticizes her. At her actual Bat Mitzvah, she receives more criticism from her father, who has recently divorced her mother and taken up with a younger model. Nicky deals with the stress by going off script during her speech, getting sassy and basically telling God to shove it. She gets quite a few laughs from the pews, with the exception of her very, very angry parents.
