Sex worker Eileen (Maggie Gyllenhaal) is inching closer to her goal of removing herself from the street. After getting involved making pornography with director Harvey (David Krumholtz), she frequently proves herself as capable in leading the set and elevating the films to be something more than just people having sex. After Harvey is a no-show on set, Eileen steps up and directs the crew to make the film. Later, she goes with Harvey to the premiere of Deep Throat, a film that will change the perception of pornography in America.
