Based on the Patrick deWitt novel of the same name, this movie is about two brothers named Eli and Charlie Sisters who embark on a mission to kill a thieving gold prospector in 1851 Oregon. The dark comedy costars Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly as the scheming hitmen, and Jake Gyllenhaal as Jim Morris, the prospector who has stolen from their boss.
