In this period war drama, childhood friends Rafe and Danny (played by heartthrobs Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett) enter World War II as pilots, but when Rafe leaves to fight in Europe before Danny, Rafe's girlfriend Evelyn (played by Kate Beckinsale) and Danny find themselves involved in a complicated love triangle.
