In a follow-up to the original four-part docuseries, which traced hip-hop's evolution from the 1970s through the 1990s, this new season will explore the growth of hip-hop subcultures in New York, the South and Oakland, CA in the '80s and '90s, hosted by Canadian rapper Shad Kabango (better known as Shad K.).
