The American film adaptation of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's Japanese manga series follows high school student Light Turner (Nat Wolff), who stumbles upon a mysterious, sinister notebook that kills anyone whose name is written inside it. We're not sure if it was intended as a comedy, but there is a lot to laugh at regardless.
