This is going to be a doozy, but there's definitely some merit to it. What if all this hype over Michael has been a bit of false advertising getting ahead of itself? Reddit user Majian18 theorizes that while Michael is definitely the child of Vivien Harmon (who may come from a long line of witches and have latent abilities) and Tate Landgon, that only makes him stronger than other warlocks, not the Antichrist. The real Antichrist is the one and only Timothy.
There are a lot of factors that the theory takes into consideration but basically it comes down to this: Michael is the red herring that will eventually be taken down by Mallory. Emily and Timothy are both candidates to be the Antichrist (which is what makes their DNA so special), but as Timothy is the one who hears voices and sees the "666" in the mirror he's likely the real Satanic jackpot. Thus, once the witches put down Michael and seemingly put an end to all the chaos, they'll revive everyone who perished in Outpost Three believing them to be innocent. When Timothy comes returns, he'll realise his identity as the true Antichrist and sh*t will, once again, hit the fan.
This theory is pretty far-fetched but also it feels so right! This would be SO fun and I kind of hope it comes true.
