The inspiration for Beedle the Bard's "The Tale of the Three Brothers," the Peverell brothers are born in the 1200s. (Ignotus, the youngest, lives from 1214 to 1292.) While it's likely the trio themselves craft the Deathly Hallows, the story goes that they encounter and outwit Death, who gives Antioch the Elder Wand, Cadmus the Resurrection Stone, and Ignotus the Cloak of Invisibility.
