Right before diving into The Good Place, showrunner Michael Schur was just wrapping up Parks and Recreation. The series revolves around the adventures (and often, misadventures) of one ambitious do-gooder named Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), who leads her friends and coworkers at Pawnee's office of Parks and Recreation. It's hard to forget characters as lovable as deadpan April Ludgate, gruff Ron Swanson, or upbeat Chris Traeger.
