This medieval drama series is an adaptation of Bernard Cornwell's The Saxon Stories, which is set in 9th century AD when England was divided into seven separate kingdoms. The show is centreed around Uhtred of Bebbanburg, who seeks vengeance after his brother is killed by the invading Danes, and we dare you to argue that Uhtred doesn't remind you even a little bit of Jon Snow.
