Netflix's second Colombian original series, which is based on the novel Yo, Bruja by Isidora Chacón, stars Afro-Colombian actress Angely Gaviria as 19-year-old Carmen, a 17th-century Colombian witch who travels in time to avoid being burned at the stake, finding herself in present-day Cartagena.
