Bale stunned us in this David O. Russell-directed film. Bale plays former boxer Dicky Eklund, and Mark Wahlberg plays his American welterweight boxer brother, Micky Ward. It's a tumultuous glance at Dicky's torrid relationship with drugs and his struggle to make a comeback. Amy Adams also stars in the film as Mickey's girlfriend, Charlene Fleming.
