Ali's Wedding tells the story of the titular Ali, a charismatic and musically-talented son of a cleric who is forced to choose between the woman he loves and the woman he's already been promised to at his father's mosque — while also trying to convince his dad that he's doing well enough in school to become a doctor (spoiler: he's not). You'd never think watching someone's life spiral out of control could be so fun.
