Based on the book series by Armistead Maupin, this miniseries stars Laura Linney as Mary Ann Singleton, a woman who returns home to reunite with her family and the residents of 28 Barbary Lane in San Francisco, 20 years after leaving her daughter (played by Ellen Page) and ex-husband behind to pursue her career.
