Based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott, this movie tells the coming-of-age stories of the four March sisters — Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy — as they grow up in Concord, MA, during the Civil War. A new Greta Gerwig adaptation is coming out soon, but you should definitely watch the '90s version starring Winona Ryder, Christian Bale, Susan Sarandon, Claire Danes, and Kirsten Dunst first before it does.
