Based on Scott Spencer's 1979 novel of the same name (as well as the 1981 movie adaption), this predictable but irresistible romance revolves around a privileged teen and a troubled young man who, following their high school graduation, find themselves falling madly, intensely in love, despite their parents' disapproval and their inevitably different paths.
