The Last Book Party drops us into the publishing world in 1980s NYC, where 25-year-old Eve Rosen is an aspiring writer frustrated with her low-level assistant job. When she ends up scoring a new gig as a researcher for a famed author in Cape Cod, she experiences a coming-of-age Summer that just might give her the chance to find her own voice.
