What it's about: Distraught after their son leaves for college, Manhattanite Kate Conrad (Kristin Davis) books an extravagant trip to Africa with her husband, but he shocks her by ending their marriage before they can jet off. Jilted, Kate carries on for a solo safari and ends up on an elephant rescue mission with her pilot, Derek Holliston (Rob Lowe), that convinces her to extend her stay through Christmastime. Something tells us sparks just might fly between the two of them.
