Sandra Bullock may have not been a Star Trek fan before working with William Shatner on the film, but she said after the fact that she started watching the show and started to get why it and he are so popular. She also revealed in that same 2000 interview that he went by Bubba on set. "For some reason he was touted Bubba, which I kinda like for him," she said.
