This coming-of-age dramedy revolves around four friends — Monse, Ruby, Jamal, and Cesar — as they attempt to navigate both the streets of Freeridge (a predominantly Hispanic and Black neighbourhood in South Central LA) and the halls of their high school. This is another one of those shows that is hilarious one moment and devastating the next, and you can never anticipate when that shift will happen.
