Jane's been a wreck since finding out her boyfriend, Ryan, cheated on her while on his book tour. He initially tells her that all he did was kiss another woman, but she eventually finds out he actually slept with her. They keep trying to move past it and make things work, but ultimately Jane ends the relationship.
Jane instead throws all her focus into starting her own vertical on Scarlet and getting a double mastectomy to get ahead of her BRCA gene mutation diagnosis.
