Seinfeld proclaimed itself to be the show about nothing, but that honour should really go to the brilliantly subtle comedy of Corner Gas. Set in the isolated small town of Dog River, the comedy includes a cast of eccentric characters who spend their time chatting at the gas station, taking staycations before they were cool, and generally enjoying living the quiet life. Not a lot happens in this gem of a show, but just hanging out with gas station owner Brent and the rest of Dog River's residents is entertaining enough.
