Baby Yoda goes on quite the journey this season, as he and his adopted "dad" Din Djarin go on a long quest to find the Jedi who can care for and train him. After meeting Ahsoka Tano (who reveals that his real name is Grogu after a telepathic conversation), he's taken to Tython, an ancient planet where he taps into the Force and calls out to any Jedi who can hear him. Exhausted by the effort, he's captured by Moff Gideon, who wants to take his blood and study it for its power, but Din Djarin and their friends come to his rescue.
After they're reunited, another ship appears and cuts through all the Darktroopers to get to them — Luke Skywalker, who heard Grogu's call in the Force and who, with Din Djarin's reluctant encouragement, takes Grogu with him to be properly trained.
