Famous for that "Son of a Preacher Man" song that we all know and love, Dusty Springfield was a total pop icon. Known for being open about her beliefs, she once told the Evening Standard that "I know I'm perfectly capable of being swayed by a girl as by a boy. More and more people feel that way and I don't see why I shouldn't." Sadly, she passed in 1999, but her music lives on.
