The documentary follows journalist Maury Terry, who became obsessed with the infamous "Son of Sam" case. In the 1970s, serial killer David Berkowitz used the moniker "Son of Sam" during his killing spree, claiming to have been obeying the orders of a demon. As Terry investigated, he suggested that the case actually was tied to a satanic cult, and the documentary attempts to explore those claims.
