Fennell's "Barbie" poster announces, "She's Midge." Midge is also a real Barbie doll who was introduced at the same time as Skipper (Barbie's younger sister, who does not seem to be in the movie). She was first released in the 1960s, and then rereleased in the 1980s as Allan's wife. Mattel even sold a pregnant Midge doll during that time.
