"Boston Legal" is a spinoff series of "The Practice" that ran for five seasons from 2004 to 2008. It follows the brilliant lawyer Alan Shore (James Spader) and his coworkers like Denny Crane (William Shatner) and Shirley Schmidt (Candice Bergen) as they work at a high-end law firm in Boston. Throughout the series, the group takes on various civil and criminal cases.
