"Lover" by Taylor Swift

Who else could possibly start off a Sagittarius playlist but the goddess Taylor Swift herself? Born Dec. 13, Swift is the perfect example of a true Sagittarian: honest through her lyrics, independent, optimistic, and not scared of change. Apart from that, her latest album, Lover, is basically the best ever, so there's that!

"Everything I Wanted" by Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish, born on Dec. 18, is boldness personified. Taking the world by storm at such a young age, Eilish dresses, writes, sings, and speaks exactly how she chooses to – and we love it!

"All the Time" by Zara Larsson

"All the Time," a song about dreaming of a past love, is perfect for idealistic, passionate Sagittarians. Zara Larsson, born Dec. 16, is expressive and outspoken through her political views and (ah-mazing) beauty and fashion sense, and we just can't get enough of her powerful voice.

"Saturday Sun" by Vance Joy

Vance Joy, the folk-pop Australian singer-songwriter who brought us the absolute jam "Riptide," was born on Dec. 1 and is a true Sagittarian, as shown in his lyrics. Always authentic and true to his own experiences, Joy bares it all in his self-written songs.

Ah, what better song to symbolize the best quality of this star sign, aka honesty and rawness? Cyrus, born Nov. 23, penned this song after her much-talked-about separation from Liam Hemsworth, and honestly, it's so beautiful. Addressing the end of the relationship but also looking to the future with lyrics like "I'll go back to the city lights," this song is pretty much perfect for anyone looking to pave a new path.

"Cheating on You" by Charlie Puth

This broody yet sexy song is one of Charlie Puth's (born Dec. 2) latest singles, and I'm here for the '90s R&B vibes! It's about a new relationship that just doesn't compare to a past one, and Puth shows the passion of a true fire sign while reminiscing on an ex.

"Waste It on Me" by Steve Aoki feat. BTS

Steven Hiroyuki Aoki, born on Nov. 30, is pretty much one of the coolest DJs and producers ever (saw him live once and was unfortunately not Champagne-d) and a total #Sag. The superdriven entrepreneur, music executive, DJ, and producer has been making hits for years, and this one featuring none other than South Korean boy band BTS (I'm not fangirling, you're fangirling) is so good!

"Let You Love Me" by Rita Ora

Born on Nov. 26, Rita Ora is possibly the most glamorous person in the universe. With a chameleon sensibility for ever-changing beauty looks (Manic Panic punk bleach blond? J Lo-style slicked-back pony? Tousled, highlighted beach waves? All of the above, thanks!), Ora is the epitome of a risk-taking, fearless Sag.

"Purple Haze" by Jimi Hendrix

Although quite the contrast against the other artists on this list, an artist as groundbreaking, brave, and genius as Jimi Hendrix just had to be included here. Basically the most Sagittarius person of all time, the "Purple Haze" singer, born Nov. 27, is known throughout the world as not only the most talented guitar player of all time but also as one of the most purely rock 'n' roll figures in history.

"Toxic" by Britney Spears

OK, so, let's just quickly clear the air: this is the best. song. of. all. time. Apart from its obvious lyrical and melodic perfection, the '70s-spy-mission-tinged production and the video are absolutely perfect. Could we expect less from Queen Brit (born Dec. 2), though?

"Criminal" by Natti Natasha ft. Ozuna

Natti Natasha, the Dominican Latin urbano powerhouse known for hits like "Criminal" feat. Ozuna and "Sin Pijama" feat. Becky G, never let anything get in the way of her success. Signed to Don Omar's record label at the age of 18 when she moved to the Bronx, NY, to purse her career, "Natti Nat" (born Dec. 10) has never stopped moving, and it shows!

"Megatron" by Nicki Minaj

Regardless of any of last year's drama (*ahem* Cardi B), the fact that she's reportedly retiring to start a family with husband Kenneth "Zoo" Petty (please check out her massive $1.1 million wedding ring), or the haters, the fact is that very few in this world can compare to Nicki Minaj (born Dec. 8). Her rap abilities are absolutely insane (still not over "Beez in the Trap"), and she always knows how to stand out, whether through her videos, red carpet looks, or Twitter feed.

"Coffee" by Tori Kelly

Victoria Loren Kelly, born Dec. 14, is a singer-songwriter who lives and breathes her art. "Coffee" showcases her Sagittarian honesty, detailing the act of missing someone through lyrics like "I envy the cup of coffee that kisses you every morning" (*swoon*).

"Morning" by Teyana Taylor and Kehlani

Name a better collaboration than Teyana Taylor and Kehlani – we'll wait! In this absolutely sultry video (#workoutgoals) for "Morning," Taylor and Kehlani sing about desire, and it all gives off modern Saede vibes. Sagittarians are known to be pretty, um, frank about their passionate ways, and that's definitely apparent here!

"Cheap Thrills" Sia ft. Sean Paul

Sia, born in Adelaide, Australia, on Dec. 18, has always marched to the beat of her own (really catchy) drum. After penning hit after hit for other artists like Beyoncé, Kylie Minogue, Flo Rida, and Rihanna (you know, just to name a few), Sia stumbled onto fame after David Guetta used her original demo vocals on "Titanium," a song she had just planned to be a songwriter on. Famously wearing a wig that allows her to remain hidden yet be able to connect to her fans, Sia has found her totally original happy medium in the music business.

"Dirrty" by Christina Aguilera ft. Redman

Anyone else dance to "Dirrty" in the mirror when they were in the awkward preteen stage? No? Forget I said anything! Christina Aguilera (born Dec. 18) will forever be absolutely iconic, from her funky braided/low-rise jeans days to her bombshell Marilyn Monroe "Hurt" days (now that I'm getting inspired by all this Sagittarian honesty stuff, I might have sang this in the mirror once upon a time – like every week). Highly recommend an Aguilera throwback binge!

"Numb/Encore " by Linkin Park feat. JAY-Z

Whether you refer to him as JAY-Z, Shawn Corey Carter, Mr. Carter, or Hova, you probably know that he basically runs the world (only topped by Queen Bey, obviously). Born Dec. 4, JAY-Z is the epitome of self-made, with a net worth of $1 billion and widely regarded as one of the best rappers of all time, due to his very Sagittarian ambition and drive.

"Wave" by Meghan Trainor feat. Mike Sabath

Let's get this out of the way, shall we? THIS SONG IS SO GOOD. It's completely addictive, and its darkness is a far cry from Meghan Trainor's past projects. Born Dec. 22, Trainor seems to have found a whole new side of her voice in this song, and we are loving this new, atmospheric (possibly even astrological) sound. Also, hello choreography!

"Walk It Talk It" by Migos ft. Drake

Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus on Dec. 14, has a completely unique style of dressing and rapping as part of the near mythical hip-hop and trap rap group Migos (just check out the '70s-style music video for "Walk It Talk It" and try not to google heart-shaped sunglasses afterward). Even through the bit of Instagram hacking drama going on right now between Offset, wife Cardi B, and Tekashi 6ix9ine's girlfriend, Jade, we still totally stan Migos.

"Make Me Feel" by Janelle Monáe

And last but certainly not least, the completely unmistakeable, forever distinctive, multitalented artist Janelle Monáe (born Dec. 1). A lover of visual arts, Prince's music, and a great suit and a creative individual who is fantastic at both acting and singing, Monáe seems to have aligned the stars in her favour.
