She had the whole audience in stitches with her short and fittingly comical reaction to nabbing the award for best lead actress in a comedy.

He profusely thanked his cast mates for their kind words, reflected on the support he received from his family growing up, and talked about how Schitt's Creek came to be. Oh, and can we get a "yes, David!" for that bedazzled shirt of his?!

While accepting the award for best comedy series, Dan commented on the inclusive and hate-free nature of Schitt's Creek, asking the crowd, "Wouldn't we all be happier if we were able to love out loud?"

Yep, they recreated the same bunny-ears photo a whole year later, and we love them for it.

He proudly proclaimed, "If I've taken anything away from making Schitt's Creek, it's that kindness always wins, that love is best served unconditionally, and that wearing sweaters in the dead of summer is a very, very bad idea."
