Peter Weber's season of The Bachelor [1] is no doubt a messy one, which is probably why Saturday Night Live [2] jumped at the chance to parody it. NBC's late-night sketch show is no stranger to a reality TV spoof, especially about Bach Nation [3] — the more drama, the better. Lucky for the writers, season 24 is pushing the limits and testing fans' patience [4], which makes for some great comedy.

On Feb. 1, host J. J. Watt became "Pilot Pat" (sound familiar?), a man who's just looking for love with "30 sobbing Hannahs." The jokes flow more easily than Kelsey's bottle of champagne [5], resulting in a skit that plays out almost like a real episode.
