If the 2023 Met Gala got your fashion juices flowing, then you'll be thrilled to know the 2023 Cannes Film Festival has been bringing more show-stopping red carpet looks. The annual celebration of fashion and film attracts a slew of A-list celebrities dressed in high-end attire, and this year is no exception.
On 25 May, Halsey made a case for Barbiecore with an edge at the amfAR Gala Cannes Gala 2023, pairing a sheer hot pink Givenchy dress with black elbow-length gloves. With styling by Lyn Alyson, the "Without Me" hitmaker put a dark twist on the typical Barbie-inspired looks we've been treated to on the red carpet of late. With their choppy hair styled into a side-sweep by Marty Harper, and ultra-dramatic eyeliner styled by themselves in their own brand, About-Face beauty by Halsey, the singer had all eyes on them on the blue carpet.
A day before, Heidi Klum made an entrance in a daring canary yellow gown at the 24 May premiere of "The Pot-au-Feu", which featured cutouts at her chest and torso. In addition, Rosie Huntington-Whitely brought a stunning turn to the red carpet at the premiere of Wes Anderson's "Asteroid City", Julia Fox made her mark at "The Idol" premiere in a Nicolas Jebran Spring 2023 Couture gown, which was almost completely see-through, and Jennifer Lawrence wowed fans in a custom red A-line gown and matching wrap by Dior at the "Anatomie D'une Chute (Anatomy Of A Fall)" premiere paired with simple black flip-flops.
Elsewhere on the red carpet, Dua Lipa launched her relationship with director Romain Gavras as they made their debut at the Cannes Film Festival, whist Phoebe Waller-Bridge wowed fans at the screening of her new film, "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" on 18 May.
