I didn't think I'd ever be saying this, but clogs are officially a major shoe trend for 2021. I know you're probably thinking, "Um . . . Did this girl get enough sleep?" But once you hear me out, you'll get where I'm coming from. Many designers, ranging from Louis Vuitton to Stella McCartney, showcased this controversial silhouette on the ss21 runways. You've probably already started to see them all over Instagram too! While the "ugly" shoe trend has been around for awhile, this year's iteration went from Tevas sandals to clogs.

While this trend found its way into our wardrobes in the early '00s, it's been making a comeback because of three key reasons: 1) Clogs are surprisingly comfortable. 2) They're functional. 3) They go with everything from nap dresses (another breakout trend) to your favourite sweatsuit. Plus, there are ones that are shearling-lined and ones with giant gold chain buckles, so you'll feel cool, not frumpy, while wearing this trend at home or outside. Ahead, we're showing you how to style this trend if you're feeling a little uncertain about taking the plunge, and we've also shopped out some of our favourite selects for you to choose from.
