Nostalgia has had a heavy influence on denim trends over the past several seasons with lighter washes, "mom" silhouettes, and baggy shapes reigning supreme. For Fall, things are getting darker with inky, indigo washes and shades of charcoal and black (the high waits and straight and wide legs are certainly sticking around, however). While it's still warm, offset these moody hues with lightweight tops and trendy tie-dye. Later in the season, go for denim-on-denim styling and start mixing in chunky sweaters, textured blazers, and coats.
