As the show reveals, small forward KJ Allen was highly sought after by Division I programs, but ultimately committed to the University of Southern California, where he'll begin the next phase of his college career later this year. "I want to thank my family, my friends, and my coaches for pushing me every day to do better and keep improving. Everyone has been a great help getting me to this point in my life," Allen wrote on Instagram, before expressing gratitude to the other schools that recruited him. "This decision was not easy."
In an interview with TrojanSports.com, Allen explained that USC offered everything he was looking for: "I felt USC can help me expand my basketball game and have a shot at a championship . . . It feels great being able to play for your own city and have family and friends watch you play. It's a wonderful feeling."
