While on first look, you might think the intertwining storylines of the 2003 film are problematic and unrealistic, hear us out. In actual fact, many of the details prove that the festive period is often anything but ideal. From cheating husbands to terrible friendships, much of the narrative involves awkwardness and bitterness.
