True fans of fall know that pumpkin spice season [1] is still going strong no matter what the weather tells us. But I'm definitely down to take a break from the cinnamon and nutmeg if it means making room for Pepperidge Farm's new Amaretto Hot Cocoa Flavoured Milano cookies. Booze? Chocolate? And cookies? I mean, it's not like I needed another excuse to sit in front of the TV and catch up on reality shows [5] while munching on snacks, but I'll take it!
Just like the spiked hot chocolate they're named after, the cookies are made with rich dark chocolate and a layer of almond-flavoured amaretto cream, and I can already imagine dunking one in a homemade cup of cocoa [6]. Some people have already spotted the cookies on store shelves, but they won't make their official debut until early November, when they'll be available nationwide at stores like Target in 7-ounce bags for $4.
