Taking Down a Wall

Unless you're Joanna Gaines, the thought of taking down a wall in your home can seem intimidating — but it can actually be a relatively straightforward home renovation. If it's a non load-bearing wall, expect to pay around $1,200 to $1,500 for the teardown, drywall, and paint touchup. For load-bearing walls in multi-level homes, the cost is quite a bit higher, at $3,000 to $10,000.
