Sure, there are professionals out there who actually know what they're talking about, but for the most part, going wine tasting is fun because you learn more about terms like "varietal" and "tannins" that make you sound fancy and cultured AF.

Don't worry if food isn't your thing either, there are no wrong answers here and sometimes the worst answers are the most entertaining.
