2. Record-breaking numbers of women have been elected to Congress.

As of early Nov. 7, 98 women have been elected — or are projected to be elected — to the House of Representatives, including 12 women winning elections to the U.S. Senate. In Nevada, voters elected Rep. Jacky Rosen (above, with Sen. Kamala Harris) over incumbent Republican Sen. Dean Heller, who voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh, and notoriously called allegations of sexual abuse against Kavanaugh a "hiccup" in the confirmation process.
