Carmelo Anthony is back in the game! After being signed by the Portland Trailblazers [3] earlier this month, the NBA player's career was revived, and no one was more proud of him than his 12-year-old son, Kiyan [4]. On Monday night, the Blazers played the Chicago Bulls, and Melo had a season-high 25 point game. It felt like the 10-time NBA all-star was getting back in his groove after a stagnant few years, and Kiyan was there to witness it all — well, witness it on FaceTime. During the game, Melo's wife, La La Anthony [5], called their son so he could be front and centre for the impressive game, and his face said it all. Melo gave his son a salute from the court, and it felt just like old times.

After the news broke that Melo would be signed by the Trailblazers, La La shared a heartfelt message to her husband on Instagram [6]. "He is his dad's #1 fan & super excited for this new opportunity . . .
