This city in Germany has everything one could want in a babymoon. Cologne has a booming food scene, including a chocolate museum and an array of bakeries and cafes that are worth every calorie and can satisfy any pregnancy craving. Burn off some of those calories in the city's shopping district, which houses everything from high-end shops to boutiques. Then take in a bit of history at the city's stunning Cologne Cathedral and the Old Market.

While there is enough to keep you busy in Cologne, the city is only about a 15-minute train ride from Brühl, which houses the Augustusburg and Falkenlust palaces, and is 20 minutes from the bustling city of Düsseldorf (don't miss the Christmas markets there if you go around the holidays), making for great day trips, too.
