On July 5, Broadway star Nick Cordero died at the age of 41 [1] after spending 95 days in the hospital due to complications from contracting COVID-19. He is survived by his wife, fitness trainer Amanda Kloots â who provided fans with raw and honest updates throughout his battle, ultimately sharing the news of his passing on Instagram â and their 1-year-old son, Elvis.
Since Elvis's birth on June 10, 2019, Amanda and Nick have both shared tons of photos of their little one. In the days that followed Nick's passing, Amanda shared a sweet video featuring her siblings, Todd and Anna, who helped her to care for Elvis during Nick's hospital stay.

Elvis Eduardo Cordero
Amanda and Nick welcomed their first and only child together, a son named Elvis, on June 10, 2019. Amanda announced Elvis's birth on Instagram, sharing a photo of the new family of three with the caption: "Introducing Elvis Eduardo Cordero! Arrived at 6:41am this morning. 7lbs and 15oz. We are so in love with him already! ð 56 hour labour (ðĪŠ) but mama and baby boy are doing great! I'll share my birth story after a very long nap."
Nick also shared a photo of his baby boy on Instagram, writing: "World, meet Elvis Eduardo Cordero. Born June 10th, 2019 at 6:41 am, in New York City. The light of our lives. Long live the King. ðâĪïļ" On July 15, 2019, Nick shared another sweet photo with a caption that alerted fans to Elvis's nickname, "Elvito Eduardito Corderito" â well, the Elvito part, at least!
Amanda celebrated Elvis's first birthday with her family, and reflected on Elvis's birth [3] multiple times in the days before. "I was admitted into the hospital on June 9th after laboring at home for 32 hours. I thought for sure I'd be around 4 cm dilated, but I was only 1!" she wrote. "Elvis was born at 6:41am that next morning, June 10th ð Best day of my life. I can't believe he turns 1 tomorrow."
